Our Business

Zel Components Ltd is a UK-based distributor of electronic components, working with trusted manufacturers and logistics partners across the UK, Europe, and the Far East. Our customers are primarily B2B clients across sectors such as industrial automation, automotive, and consumer electronics.

Our Supply Chain

We work closely with a network of global suppliers, some of whom are based in regions identified as higher risk for labour exploitation. As part of our due diligence:

• We conduct initial and ongoing assessments of supplier practices
• We require suppliers to confirm adherence to ethical labour and sourcing standards
• Where possible, we prioritise working with ISO-certified and audited manufacturers
• We monitor supplier performance and investigate any concerns raised

Policies and Governance

To combat modern slavery, we have the following policies in place:

• Supplier Code of Conduct
• Anti-Slavery and Human Trafficking Policy
• Whistleblowing Policy allowing concerns to be reported confidentially
• Due Diligence Framework applied during onboarding and contract reviews

Our internal policies are reviewed annually and updated in line with legal and industry standards.

Training and Awareness

We provide training and guidance to relevant staff on:

• Identifying signs of modern slavery
• Reporting procedures and escalation routes
• Ethical sourcing expectations

Procurement, logistics, and management teams are prioritised for awareness training.

Assessment and Risk Management

We conduct periodic reviews of:

• Supplier geographic risk
• Labour and human rights practices in our supply chain
• Internal compliance processes

If any risk is identified, we work with the supplier to address and correct the issue, or terminate the relationship if necessary.
