The BRCS01 is a high-sensitivity residual current sensor (also known as a leakage current sensor) capable of detecting AC 30mA & DC 6mA or DC 6mA residual currents. It features a digital fault output and integrated self-test functionality. When combined with an EV charging controller and switching components, it can be used to construct an IEC 62955-compliant Residual Direct Current Detecting Device (RDC-DD). This setup fulfills the residual current protection requirements specified in IEC 61851-1 and IEC 60364-7-722.
